Teressa Renee Williams, 38, passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 after a long illness.  She joins her father, Rodney C. Williams Sr. and grandfathers, Charles U. Williams and Rev. W. C. Doty.

She was the first born to Debora and Rodney on March 7, 1972.  She was also the first born grandchild.  She attended Akron Public Schools and had attended the Medical Institute for 2 years.  Teri worked for Summa Health System prior to her illness.  She loved reading, traveling, search word books, and her family.  Her children and granddaughter were the loves of her life.

She will be deeply missed by her mother, Debora Williams; brother, Rodney “Chuck” Williams; children, Brandon, Kennedra, and Keyanna; granddaughter, Keyandra; grandmothers, Madeline Williams and E. Marie Doty; extended family, Kristina Williams, Jackie, Rasheed, Al, Frank and William, Naomi Smith and Frank (Shirley) Smith; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces cousins and friends.  Her dog, Muscles will also miss her.

Services will be held Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John C.M.E. Church, 1233 S. Hawkins Ave., Akron, OH 44320. Rev. Arthur Green eulogizing and Rev. Yvette McMillan officiating.  Friends may visit at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.  Procession will form at the church and condolences may be sent to 5108 Fairington Ave., Copley, OH 44321.
