 Ruby Millirons passed away after a short illness on July 4, 2010, in the Hospice Care Center. 

She was born August 2, 1925 in Midway, AL to the late Julie Milbry and Major Lane.  She was married to Clyde Millirons on August 15, 1958. 

She served on the usher Board at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church before joining Prince of Peace Baptist Church, where she was a member for 47 years.  She was also a member of the Missionary Circle. 

She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved flowering, gardening and cooking. 

Ruby was preceded in death by her son, Sidney Burton; four brothers, Fred Rogers, Jamie Lee Lane, Major Lane, and Robert Lane; eight sisters, Essie Ellington, Rosie Streeter, Dixie Lee Glenn, Bessie Lee Lane, Priscilla Crawford, Lily Mae Lane, Ida Mae Saxton and Cynthia Lee Lane. 

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Millirons; sisters, Mattie Ellis, Leslie (John) Berry, Florilla King, Sallie Terry, Elizabeth Lane, Dolly Boyne, and Cordie Moore; her beloved son, Michael Millirons; and a very special niece, Rosia (John) Webb; one grandson, Antwain Darrel Stewart; two special grand-nephews, Stan and Maurice Webb; grand-niece, Teresa Pressley; three great-grandsons, Demetrius, Antwain, and JayQuan; a special cousin, Novella; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.
