Mildred Millie” Good (nee Howe), age 51, went home to be with the Lord after fighting a battle with cervical cancer, surrounded by her family at her residence on Saturday, June 12, 2010. 

Millie was born September 2, 1958 to the union of Donald and Betty Howe. She was a lifelong resident of Akron and was employed at Mobile Meals for 11 years. 

The joy of Millie’s life was her children and grandchildren.  She lavished them with love, support and directions.  Millie had a sense of humor that was contagious.  She lived life to the fullest and had an inner strength that carried her through any storm or turbulence that life would bring. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Betty. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Michael; father, Donald; daughters, Pamela (Eric), Kimberly (Jason), Nicole and Elaina; sons, Michael Good, Jr., Nathaniel Smith III (Pam) and Brandon Diaz; sisters, Debbie, Glenda, Joyce and Patty (Brian) Bevere; grandchildren, Angelique, Shai, Dezerae, Maria, Mataeo, Damon, Tyler, Tyrese, NaTalya, Na’Tya, Lil Nate, Joey, Jeremiah, Jayden and unborn grandson Michael. 

Millie’s health became progressively fragile and at 11:30 am Saturday morning, June 12^th the Almighty God sweetly closed her eyes, giving eternal rest.
