Kristy R. Bailey was born June 19, 1956.  She passed away January 20, 2010 at City Hospital.  Kristy attended Akron Public Schools and was presently going to Akron Institute.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alease and John E. Looney Sr; grandmother, Ruby Fann. She leaves to mourn her demise children, Shon Nodine Hale, of Georgia, Lance Hale, of Huntsville, Alabama, Shavona Bailey, Ebony Bailey and Whitney Yarbrough, all of Akron, Ohio; 7 grandchildren.Moniqic Kimbrough, Steven Shaw, Andrea Hammond, Andreas Hammond Jr, Armoni Hammond, Eccence and Eliyah Surles; brothers, Grady Wims, Kelvin Looney, of Akron, Ohio, John (Elisenia) Looney, of Kansas, and Troy (Latoya) Looney, of Akron, Ohio; aunts, Mary and P. J. Robinson, Sara Lindsey, Rose  (Charles)  Porter, of Akron, Ohio, Sudie Glover, of New York; uncles, Willie Wims, LuDavid (Linda) Wims, and Allie (Lola) Wims; son-in-law, Andreas Hammond; special friends, Daniel Strickland and Jessie Respress; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Pastor Gregory E. Partridge, Sr. officiating.  Interment Glendale Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 330 Vaniman, Akron, OH 44305.
