Ionie L. Green-Hayes was born July 5, 1913.  She went home to be with the Lord May 3, 2010 at the age of 96.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church for 62 years.

Ionie leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Maxine (Clyde) Otis; granddaughter, Darlana J. Otis; grandsons, Clinton (Robbyn), Clayton (Nyiesha), and Carlton; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 2 step-daughters; special loved ones Dora Greene and Betty Lewis.

Homegoing services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt Calvary Baptist Church, 442 Bell St., Akron, OH 44307, Pastor Jeffrey Dennis officiating.  Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.  Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1635 Stimson St., Akron, OH 44320.
