Ebony Marie Hayes was born in Medina, Ohio on October 3, 1990 to Cynthia Glover and Nathan Darnell Haynes. She attended Akron Public Schools, graduating from Kenmore Senior High in June, 2009. Due to her illness, she had dreams of furthering her education by becoming a registered nurse. She was called home by the Lord on June 9, 2010 at Akron Children’s Hospital. Ebony confessed Christ and was baptized at the age of six under the leadership of Pastor John Peterson at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Medina, OH. She loved music and dancing. Family was important to her; her best friends were her brothers, Anthony and Christopher. She was a beautiful, confident, intelligent and out-spoken person. Although she was ill, those who didn’t know she was sick never knew just how sick she was. Through her health challenges, she remained positive and optimistic. A vibrant woman, full of life, she was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Willie C. Glover, Henry Inman and Sam Scott, Sr.; and cousin, Andrew D. Glover. She leaves to cherish her memory parents, Cynthia (Perry) Glover and Nathan Darnell Haynes; brothers, Anthony Ellis Haynes and Christopher Darnell Haynes; grandparents, Delores Inman, Nathan Haynes, Patricia (Sam) Morgan; great-grandparents, Corrine Inman and Delores Scott; God-daughter, Trenee Cox; special aunt, Christina Glover; special friends, Samantha Collyer, Channon Cox, Mariah Boone, Shavell Shannon, Shatora Cox, Norchelle Spears, Tatiana Eason, Missy Eason, Tre’Anna Roth Inman, Kelsey Inman; and a host of relatives and friends.
