Doris L. Carroll-Rogers was born in Pinkard, Alabama on December 23, 1941 to Lonnie & Willie Carroll. Raised in Akron, Ohio, she was called home on January 20, 2010. She graduated from South High School in 1960, and upon graduation she went on to specialize in Career fields as a daycare teacher, teacher for special needs children with South Bend Community Schools. Before retirement she worked as an Assistant Nurse and Phlebotomist at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Her hobbies were modeling, crossword puzzles and games of all sorts. She also loved the company of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Willie Carroll; son, Dwight Edward Davis; grandchild, Rickisha Williams and great grandchildren, Brandin D. Williams & Brielle Maleah Williams. To cherish her memory she leaves her children, Rochell Davis, Donna Davis, Donald Davis and Derrick Davis; grandchildren, Lamar, Diontay, Dimar, Javar, Marcus, Kory, Kayla, Malika, Saniecia ,Ricki, Qwanaisha, Shanika, Shaquea, Brandi, and Brianna; sisters, Lucille Burney, Christine (Leon) Simon, Jeanette Conley, Willie-May (Richard) Hooks, and Bernice (Charlie) Mitchell; and a host of aunts, uncles, great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.
