Donald Baker, Jr. “Broski”, 48, of Akron, Ohio passed away suddenly on June 29, 2009.  He was Born on April 16, 1961 to the late Donald Baker, Sr. & Robia (Baker) Key.  He grew up in the Goodyear Heights area of Akron.  Donald attended the Akron Public School System, and went on to become employed by Summa Health System, for a period of eight years.  Donald, commonly known to friends and relatives as “Broski”, enjoyed shooting pool, playing baseball, and landscaping to pass time.  He always had a smile and a joke to tell.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Baker, Sr.; mother, Robia C. Key.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Darren Dent; sisters, Kimmy J. Baker, Leann (Andre) Taylor; brothers, Brice C. Baker, Carlos M. Key (Eleanor); special cousins, Barbara and Cedric Sommerville, Ronnie Bryant, and Timothy Mills; He also leaves to cherish, Beverly (Peter) Gibson, Belinda (Milan) Blackshear, Michael Key, Timothy Key, Anthony Key, Sammie L. Key Jr.; Special friend, Calvin James; and a host of other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Homegoing services will be held at Arlington Church of God, 539 S. Arlington St., Akron, OH 44306 on July 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Diana Swoope Officiating.  Friends may call at the chapel from 12:00 p.m until time of service.  Procession will form at 600 Auldfarm Rd., Akron, OH 44320, and condolences may be sent to 383 Hilcrest St., Akron, OH 44307.
