Constance L. “Connie” Dent, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 4, 2010.

Connie was born June 8, 1946 in Akron, Ohio. She was a graduate of South High School. She was employed at Wigtown and Beauty Supply for over 20 years.

Connie accepted the Lord in 1979 and was a former member of St. John’s C.M.E. Church.  Later she united with The House of the Lord where she was a faithful and devoted member.  She was also a member of the “Weems Reunion Club” where she served on the courtesy committee.

Connie was a kind, giving and loving person. She lived her life bringing peace and joy to all she touched. Most of all she was a gentle, humble servant to her family and friends.

Proceeded in death by father, Leonard Milliner; sisters, Linda and Sharon; brother, Leonard Jr.  Connie leaves to celebrate her life and spirit, mother, Dorothy Milliner; sister, Sandra Seals; sons, Tony (Avril); Shon (Melissa); Jesse (Patrese); Leonard Dent and special family member Latonya Dent.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at The House of the Lord, 1650 Diagonal Rd., Akron, Ohio 44320.  Friends may visit the church from 12:00 p.m. until time of service with Pastor Dennis Butts Sr. officiating.  Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 429 N. Hawkins Ave. Apt 101, Akron, Ohio 44313.
