Clarence H. Henderson (better known as “Brite”), went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2010 after a long illness.  He was born in Orville (Dallas County), AL on December 24, 1943.  He moved to Akron, OH with his family and attended Akron Public Schools.  He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Haven Missionary Baptist Church.  He worked for the City of Akron for many years and retired in 1992.  His favorite past-time was being with his family, watching movies and his love for cars.  He kept a nice car. 

He was preceded in death by parents, William R. and Adeail Henderson; brothers, William E. & Benjamin F. Henderson; sister, Bernice Stone.  

He is survived by his brother, Cleo (Sheila) Henderson; sisters, Remonia (Henry) Fitzgerald, Carleane (Willie) Scott, Luellen Taylor, Katie (Bennie) Hamilton and sister-in-law, Cylla Henderson, all of Akron, OH; his dearest friends, Jennie Bryant, Maxine Bradberry and Paris Biven; care-givers, Kimberly C. Chandler and Anthony Stormer; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
