Betty Jean King was born on May 25, 1945 in Auburn, AL to the late Willie Welch and Pinkie Nell Morgan.  She was employed as a bus driver at Weaver and United Disability for many years.  She was a faithful member of Stone’s Deliverance Temple under the leadership of Pastor Mary L. Stone, where she drove the church bus.  She loved to cook and attend church. 

She was preceded in death by brother, Jessie Morgan Welch.  She leaves to cherish her memories step-mother, Jean Welch; daughters, Karen Welch and Shone Jackson; sons, Eric, Derric, Avery (Stephanie) and Reginald Miller and three stepsons, Teddy Cheatam, Melvin and Clarence Keyes; sisters, Louise and Phyllis Welch of Atlanta, GA; Carol Byrd and Janice Chambers of Barberton, OH; brothers, Willie, Ronnie (Janet), Leonard (Amanda) Welch of Akron, OH.; Gary (Nona) Welch of Atlanta, GA; Robert (Janet) Williams of Akron, OH.; Tony (Yvonne) Welch of Barberton, OH; 24 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, very special friends, Pearl Underwood and Barbara Brown; and a host of other relatives.
