Adeail Carey- Henderson, 97, 2009 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice.  She was born September 25, 1911 in Orville (Dallas County) Alabama to the late Sampson and Sallie Carey.  Her greatest joy was her family and her one wish in life was to live to be 100 years old, have her picture in the paper and on television celebrating with her family.  Adeail was a founding member of the Mount Haven Missionary Baptist Church and a member in many auxiliaries in the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Sampson and Sallie Carey; husband, William R. Henderson; two sons, William E. and Benjamin F. Henderson; daughter, Bernice Stone; and 11 siblings.  She is survived by sons, Clarence Henderson, Cleophus (Sheila) Henderson; daughters, Remonia (Henry) Fitzgerald, Carleane (Willie J.) Scott, Luellen Taylor, Katie (Bennie) Hamilton; and daughter-in-law, Cylla Henderson;  dear friend and sister-in-law, Min Ora Dee Henderson-Hicks;  devoted granddaughter and caregiver, Tracy Henderson, 25 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, 47 great-great grandchildren, with a host of nieces , nephews, relatives, and friends.

Services will be held Thursday July 2, 2009 at 12:00 p.m at Mt. Haven Missionary Baptist Church, 545 Noble Ave., Akron, OH 44320.   Pastor Horace Drake officiating and Rev. Steven M. Butler Eulogizing.  Interment Glendale Cemetery.  Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1056 Frederick Blvd., Akron, OH 44320
